Our Approach to Emergency Care

Our Approach to Emergency Care

At Sunrise, we believe that emergency care is not just about speed — it is about having the right people, the right equipment, and the right protocols in place before the emergency ever arrives. Our Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, staffed by trained emergency medicine physicians and supported by instant access to all 36 specialties across the hospital. From the moment you arrive — or the moment our ambulance reaches you — the entire Sunrise system activates around your care.

Holistic Immediate Care

Our emergency team conducts a thorough primary survey and assessment from the moment of first contact — ensuring that no injury or condition is overlooked and that your stabilisation begins immediately.

Specialist Backup in Minutes

With 36 medical specialties in-house, our emergency physicians can call upon a cardiologist, neurosurgeon, or paediatric specialist within minutes — not hours.

Paediatric Emergency Capability

Our emergency team is trained in PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support) protocols — ensuring that children in emergency situations receive the same level of rapid, expert care as adults.

Our Hospital offers a range of specialized departments for tailored care

Emergency Response Call +91 9946000911 or arrive at our Emergency Department. Our team initiates assessment within minutes of arrival — triage, vital signs, and primary survey begin immediately.

Stabilisation & Specialist Activation Your emergency physician stabilises your condition and activates the relevant specialist — cardiologist, neurosurgeon, orthopaedic surgeon, or paediatrician — depending on your presentation.

Treatment & Recovery Pathway Once stabilised and assessed, you are transitioned to the appropriate care pathway — whether that is admission to our ICU, ward care, specialist department, or — in appropriate cases — discharge with follow-up instructions.

Success Stories

Success Stories and Patient Testimonials

Discover inspiring story from individuals who have overcome addiction and rebuilt their lives through our compassionate care.

I had been living with a uterine prolapse for years, and the added complication of cardiac medication made surgery seem impossible. Dr. Hafeez Rahman took on my case when others wouldn't. He resolved everything laparoscopically — no open surgery, no compromise on my heart medication. I travelled from Dubai to Kochi and I would do it a hundred times over.

I had spent months being told my condition was something it wasn't. At Sunrise, Dr. Aswini identified exactly what was wrong and connected me with the right specialist. For the first time in a long time, I felt heard — and then I felt better.

Gayatri, Hyderabad

M.D. , Radical Orange Pty Ltd.

Dr Nassar Yusuf provided me with expert consultation and surgical magic to be honest. Many hospitals and doctors were not able to assure with confidence my complete recovery from the unique cardio-thoracic complications I was under. The hospital staff and facilities were accommodating. I will refer Sunrise and Dr Nassar for anyone looking for expert diagnosis and care.
